Available resources

There is very little information about the language available on the web, and what there is mostly consists of very technical linguistic theses, and a few - mostly decades old - translations of books like the Bible.

About me

I am trying to learn Giriama from these resources - and hopefully in the future some help from Giriama speakers! I am trying to translate what I have learned into simple, easy to follow lessons for other people to use.

I am a postgraduate student in linguistics, I have had a couple of terms of Swahili lessons, and I am hoping to go to Kenya soon to meet Giriama people and get some audio recordings .
